Recently, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce released the “Top 500 Private Enterprises by Invention Patents 2025” and “Top 500 Private Enterprises by R&D Investment 2025”. NHU Holding Group once again earned a place on both prestigious lists.
Our robust R&D capabilities and solid patent portfolio have secured our continued recognition, highlighting our innovative vitality and strong growth momentum within the industry. This dual achievement reflects our long-term dedication to our core business, our steadfast focus on industrial development, and our active alignment with national strategies. It also reaffirms our pioneering spirit and unwavering commitment to technological innovation and intellectual property protection.
For more than three decades, NHU has been deeply engaged in fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, equipment, and education, continuously strengthening the innovation, industrial, and value chains. Each year, we invest heavily in cutting-edge technology research and product development. Over the past five years, we have invested 5.506 billion yuan in R&D, averaging over 5% of our annual sales revenue.
In fine chemicals, NHU has achieved breakthroughs in key technologies that have long constrained the development of vitamin E, vitamin A, PPS, and methionine. In pharmaceuticals, we have established strong product portfolios in cardiovascular and diabetes therapeutics, while advancing research into innovative small nucleic acid drugs.
By the end of 2024, NHU held 1,020 valid domestic patents and 129 valid international patents. In addition, research outcomes from our university collaborations have received one China Patent Gold Award and one Silver Award, reinforcing our commitment to building a solid foundation for sustainable development.

From July 12 to 19, the 53rd IUPAC General Assembly & the 50th World Chemistry Congress took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, under the theme “Chemistry for a Sustainable Future”. Mr. Li Haoran, Honorary Dean of the NHU Research Institute, Ms. Yu Lili, Assistant Dean and Deputy Director of the Product R&D Department, and Mr. He Qiyang, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Cooperation Department, joined over 3,000 chemists from around the world to explore the vital role of chemical science in addressing global sustainability challenges.
